I recently brought home one of these little beauties--a Cannondale CAAD 10. I'm taking good care of it and giving it plenty of exercise and fresh air. I must say, we are getting along famously.

Part of the fun is in preparation for Levi Leipheimer's King Ridge Medio Fondo in a few months! It's in Sonoma County and has gorgeous views! The ride looks like this and is 65 miles long.

I forgot how much fun it is to ride a bike! There was a time in college when I used my bicycle as my main form of transportation (despite owning a car) and I LOVED it. I actually enjoyed lugging my groceries home in a backpack and the extra 20 minutes it took to get home after class. It was relaxing and forced me to slow down and look at my surroundings. Although this bike is taking me to different places, I'm still enjoying every moment of it.
